Lodging in Snowmass

Snowmass Village, different than the town of Snowmass Colorado, was designed for skiers! Snowmass Village, the first major ski resorts that offered true ski in and ski out lodging. Over 90% of all Snowmass lodging is in/out, defined as within 100 yards of the ski slopes. The ski in/out access of Snowmass makes the resort an excellent choice for children and those wanting to attend ski school.

Terraced out of the mountain next to two chairlifts, Fanny Hill and the Burlingame Chair, the village has expanded to include condos and homes below the new Alpine Springs lift. Today Snowmass Village is going through a major expansion, developing a second village center just above the Assay Hill chairlift. Properties from the Crestwood to the Top of the Village are all receiving a new face lift, inside and out!

A car is never needed in Snowmass. In addition to the free intra-resort shuttle, the Aspen Free Shuttle Bus operated in the day to take skiers from Snowmass to any of the other three ski resorts, Aspen, Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands, many of the lodging properties offer free complementary on-call shuttles to the grocery store, ski shops and the Snowmass Mall.

Snowmass lodging ranges from hotel, semi-B & B, home rentals to studio through four-bedroom condos. Moderate to luxury accommodations can be found in both hotels and condos. All hotels except the Stonebridge Inn are located either just one level above or below the Snowmass Mall.
